What a fantastic end to a brilliant and varied year’s programme of Explorer Talks award-winning fine art photographer and adventurer Tim Taylor gave us last night. The Coopers Arms was packed full of SES members and friends who listened intently as Tim told how he became a photographer and the physical climbing training he undertook with the Marines. He also shared some of the stories behind his photographs and why he believes photography can be used to engage humans to consider their relationship with nature and how they can help preserve it. John Blashford-Snell was present again and congratulated Tim on his fascinating talk and asked if there were any doctors in the house who might like to join his next expedition! Roll on the 2020 Explorer Talk programme! Thanks to Tim and all our speakers this year as well as Medelinked for their generous sponsorship.
