We are delighted to announce that Merck, a leading science and technology company, is continuing its relationship with SES for the second year running and is proudly sponsoring the 2021 SES Explorer Talk programme. Merck seeks to spark scientific curiosity and passion through strategic employee and community engagement efforts, paving the way to a future filled with breakthroughs. The company invests in non-profit organisations through signature and localised partnerships that are focused on either scientific research or science education. Its SPARK Global Volunteer Programme is designed to inspire Merck employees across the globe to leverage their diverse talents, skills and experience to give back to the communities in which they live and work. Merck’s SPARK team in Dorset recommended Scientific Exploration Society as an ideal charity to support. We are hugely grateful to Merck for its continued support.

SES Explorer Talks take place on the last Tuesday of every month, except July, August and December. Up until COVID-19, these events were held in a private room at the Coopers Arms (Chelsea). Since social distancing rules have been in place, the talks have been delivered via Zoom webinar. They will continue to be delivered until we are permitted to resume in-person events at the Coopers Arms. Tickets to all SES events are available on Eventbrite.
