Colonel John Blashford-Snell’s Kenya Quest Expedition 2018 successfully built a new classroom for the local school at Nikiria. Dozens of patients were treated by the doctors and the dentist and extensive wildlife surveys were made by the team on horseback, on foot and from vehicles.

School books and reading glasses were distributed and a survey of the endangered Grevy Zebra was carried out at El Karama, where we were accommodated by Sophie and Murray Grant at their splendid eco-lodge.

The Mount Kenya Trust have expressed their thanks for all the help the expedition gave them, especially in studying the elephants with camera traps.
