Are you – or do you know anyone – interested in running the 2020 Virgin London Marathon?

Scientific Exploration Society has a handful of places available and is seeking runners to help its fundraising efforts. We offer administrative support from our office, and our marathon runners will get access to lots of advice and ideas from Keith MacIntosh of Nomadical Coaching.

Keith is involved with races around the world, including the Original Everest Marathon (he’s one of the organising team) and is a big believer in people keeping things simple and using their running to go to interesting places and do interesting things. He's run the London Marathon many times, sometimes as a race (2h36 is his fastest) but more often, as a relatively relaxed day for soaking-up the atmosphere – which is a great way to approach it.

The advice is mostly aimed at people who may not have run a marathon before, and aims to help you get to the start line in one piece, without getting too stressed about the process or too tangled-up in training plans. But if you’re keen to run a fast one, Keith could help with that too.
