    • The income generated by the annual subscriptions help to pay for the small number of part-time staff who manage every aspect of SES activity, such as producing the Scientific Explorer Annual Review and regular e-newsletters, maintaining the website and social media pages, the Explorer Awards programme and 'Oscars of Exploration' presentation evening, the scientific expeditions supported and made available for participation and a full and varied schedule of Explorer Talks and Charity Events organised for SES community to enjoy. SES is very grateful for this support.
