Dee’s talk will chart her journey from secondary PE teacher to world record setting professional yachtswoman. With a focus on her most recent project promoting youth opportunities, gender equity and sustainability, Dee will share her experiences, insights and personal lessons learnt in an authentic and entertaining way.

Dee Caffari MBE has sailed around the world six times. She is the first woman to have sailed single-handed and non-stop around the world in both directions. She is also the only woman to have sailed non-stop around the world a total of three times and has completed more non-stop circumnavigations of the globe than any other woman. Outside of sailing, Dee continues to showcase her talents in other areas such as TV and radio presenting, motivational speaking and supporting her chosen charities.

The talk will be preceded with a drinks reception and followed by a raffle raising funds for SES.
