Andrew Harper – 2021 Survey Program (Northern Territories, Australia)

Following on from approving Andrew Harper's 2019 Survey Program, we are thrilled to have approved his 2021 Survey Program as a SES Endorsed Expedition, which means that the aims and objectives are endorsed by SES and provide SES members and friends with the opportunity to take part in the expedition.

The 2021 Survey Program is a series of 12 surveys to document the flora and fauna, indigenous occupation, and invasive species across the southern, central and eastern Simpson Desert. The principal scientific aims are to conduct fauna and flora surveys using systematic and standardised census methodology across the more remote and isolated parts of the Simpson Desert using traditionally outfitted pack camels. Follow the expedition's progress on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
