Operation Drake - 40th Year Anniversary Reunion

The SES has been working hard to connect with Operation Drake Alumni with a view to organising a reunion to celebrate the 40th Year Anniversary.

The current owners of the Eye of the Wind have suggested that the ship could visit the UK during May 2018 as a focal point for an Operation Drake 40th Anniversary Reunion. Wednesday 23 May 2018 has been confirmed for a reunion party aboard ship, in either London or Plymouth. During the days prior to and post 23 May proposed event, Eye of the Wind could potentially be available for day sailing events (max 12 persons per trip). Further details will be provided in due course.

To help us with plans, we would be enormously grateful if you could complete the ONLINE QUESTIONNAIRE. We will be back in touch once we have an idea of what everyone is able to do.

If you know of other Operation Drake participants who may also wish to attend a 40th Anniversary Reunion and/or be interested in the establishment of an Operation Drake Alumni, please do let them know.

We will continue to post information and progress about the Reunion on this website and the SES social media pages, so please do check back in from time to time.
