The SES is delighted to announce that Peter Kohler will be the SES@GauchoCity speaker in April 2018 and will give a talk about Robots for Conservation on Tuesday 24 April 2018 at the Gaucho (City), London. These events are kindly hosted by Gaucho City and supported by Cadogan Tate, for which the SES is extremely grateful.
As founder of the very first SES Championed Expedition - The Plastic Tide, Peter will explain how his expedition features technology, cutting-edge artificial intelligence, citizen science and ocean science and how these ever evolving developments can be used to push back the frontiers of our understanding of the plastic pollution problem. Peter will also look at how similar holistic approaches to overfishing have provided global innovations and what the future role exploration may play in these approaches to major environmental challenges humankind.
