John Blashford-Snell flies a Tiger Moth

The Team at SES Expedition Base recently treated John Blashford-Snell, founder of the SES, to an unusual birthday present...a flight in a lovely Tiger Moth! This historic bi-plane was piloted by SES Member, Annabelle Burroughs, who regularly flies Tiger Moths from Henstridge airfield. John was thrilled as he was allowed to fly this legendary aircraft for a few minutes! Speaking of the present, John said "It is a marvellous experience, which I strongly recommended."
