Ground Penetrating Orangutans

20th Nov 2017  Duration: 23 hours 59 minutes

The SES is delighted to announce an addition to the Autumn Lecture Series - Dr Dirk Gorissen who will be giving a lecture on technological developments in conservation and environmental issues.

Technology is cool, shiny and rapidly evolving. Perhaps you believe it will change the world and benefit humanity. Or perhaps you believe it’s just a series of short-lived fad's that benefit few and distract attention from the more important, fundamental things.

These are big questions and Dirk can promise no big answers. What he can do is talk about a couple of case studies from his experience working with drones, landmines, marine litter, rural water supply in Tanzania, and orangutans in Borneo.

Exploration Suite, Park Tower Hotel, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7RN

TIME & DATE:
6.30pm (for 7pm) on Monday 20 November 2017
